The rest of the world, while hating it and pretending not to understand it, gets it – and they envy it.

 

The ‘it’ is American exceptionalism, fueled by talent.

 

I can appreciate that soccer gives little kids a chance to play because just about anybody can, but soccer at the professional level is absolutely, positively the dumbest so-called sport any ditwad ever dreamt up.

 

In fact the only thing dumber is the fans who get so emotional about it.

 

Talent is hitting a fast ball with a bat….sinking a 35 foot jump shot…playing a ten under round of golf...completing 19 of 20 passes.

 

It’s not running around with shoulder-length hair in stupid shorts, jumping in a pile because somebody kicks a free-kick goal for a win.

 

Give me a freakin’ frackin’ rackin’ dackin’ stinkin’ break.
